(NEWS10) -- In an announcement at New York's first-ever Unity Summit, $25M has been made available through the FY 2024 budget to support organizations serving communities at a higher risk of hate crimes and vandalism. Over 500 New Yorkers representing community groups, faith leaders, and public safety experts shared their experiences on how New York can come together to fight against hatred at the Summit as well. ST. LOUIS - One man wanted in a Cherokee Street shooting over the weekend is behind bars, leading to two arrests in the investigation. Police announced the arrest of Darion Benton, 33, one day after reporting the arrest of Amber Booker, 33. Both are accused in a shooting Saturday evening as a Cinco de Mayo festival was wrapping up for the day. Photos shared by police Monday in connection with the case showed two people, presumed to be Benton and Booker, holding weapons around the time of gunfire. Prosecutors have not yet issued charges to Benton, though police say he is awaiting a charging decision from the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office. Update: Nakeita Campbell was found by St Louis County Policew and reunited with family members. ST. LOUIS - Police are asking for the public's help with finding a missing Minnesota woman who is possibly around the St. Louis area. Nakeita Campbell, 21, was last seen in Downtown St. Louis around two weeks ago on April 28. Her family members contacted the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department on Tuesday to report her disappearance. Crime ring based in St. Charles targeted small towns SLMPD days that Campbell left her home in Maplewood, Minnesota on April 1, and she likely came to St. Louis to stay with a man she met online. Police say Campbell has a disability that makes her vulnerable. She also does not have a phone. The World Beer Cup, an international competition billed as the largest and most prestigious in the industry, honored craft breweries from across the globe Wednesday. Awards were dolled out during the Craft Brewers Conference in Nashville.Typically the competition happens every other year, but the Boulder-based Brewers Association, which hosts the competition, decided in 2022 the event would be an annual occurrence. This year marked the first time the competition took place in consecutive years, and while some Colorado beer makers suspected that would cause fewer breweries to enter, it didn’t stop them from collecting hardware.Judges evaluated 10,213 beers from 2,376 breweries – down from 10,542 beers and 2,493 breweries in 2022, the competition’s biggest year.Despite that drop, the number of medals awarded to local breweries increased. A one-story building in a park in Montecito Heights was badly damaged by a fire early Thursday morning.The fire at Hermon Park, also known as Arroyo Seco Park, was reported a few minutes after 2:30 a.m.When firefighters arrived at the scene in the 5600 block of Via Marisol, they found an unoccupied one-story building ablaze.Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames in about 20 minutes, but not before large portions of the structure collapsed, footage from the scene shows.The cause of the fire remains under investigation.Jay-Z's RocNation publishes open letter for Times Square casino bid
