It’s not surprising that linebacker Ivan Pace Jr., pass rusher Andre Carter II and cornerback NaJee Thompson all came to Vikings with a chip on their shoulder. They sat around and watched 259 players get taken in 2023 NFL Draft without any of them hearing their name called. That served as motivation enough for Pace, Carter and Thompson when they first arrived at TCO Performance Center in the spring, and they carried that over into training camp in the summer. In the end, all three made the team, with each of them in line to contribute for the Vikings in some way, shape or form this fall.“They have come in and demonstrated not only that they’re clearly NFL players, they have a fit and a role within our systems,” head coach Kevin O’Connell said. “Those are pretty easy conversations at that point and something that those guys earned.”Here’s a scouting report on each player:Ivan Pace Jr.Position: LinebackerCollege: CincinnatiHeight: 5 feet, 10 in...Adolis Garcia’s homer off Josh Winder in 9th gives Rangers 6-5 win over Twins
