Maribel Gomez Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash on Hesperian Boulevard [Hayward, CA] Pickup Versus Sedan Collision near Industrial Boulevard Kills 39-Year-Old Female PassengerHAYWARD, CA (October 13, 2023) – Monday night, Maribel Gomez was killed and three others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Hesperian Boulevard.Police responded to the collision on October 9th, at around 8:53 p.m., in the area of Hesperian and Industrial Boulevards.Upon arrival, officers learned that a pickup truck collided with a sedan. However, the cause of the crash remains unknown.The first responders transported a female passenger of the sedan to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The coroner’s office later identified the deceased woman as Maribel Gomez of Hayward.Meanwhile, the 36-year-old male sedan driver was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.
